Apprentice applications are officially open!​

The Apprenticeship Program pairs talented students with local startups to complete a project based on the company’s needs. Students will have the unique opportunity to work alongside the founders and CEOs of companies to do real-world technical and data science work. The projects are hands-on and can be individual or team-based. This program is perfect for self starters who love learning through experience and want to help a company during its early stages. ​

Eligibility & Commitment

• Open to current AIS members

• One-semester commitment, but can extend into other semesters based on the company’s wants

• Attendance at GBMs (two absences allowed)

• Attend an Apprenticeship orientation, onboarding meeting with the company, optional midpoint check-in, and final presentation
