As a vice president of AIS, you'll play a crucial role in representing our organization with various exciting duties and responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to interface with our sponsors, the university, and your peers as a leader and liaison. Though each Vice-President position demands a unique set of responsibilities, all Vice-Presidents have the following commitments:

VP Consulting
Open Position (2)
The Vice Presidents of Consulting are active in creating and executing community outreach programs including building strategic alliances with non-profits and helping nonprofits with technology-related problems. This position ensures that members are actively helping in the community while simultaneously building their analytical and project management skills.
The Consulting committee is partnered with Smart North Florida to provide data analytics experience for our committee members. All of the committee’s projects are geared to the three main areas of focus: general business consulting, data analytics, and website development.
Responsibilities for this position include: developing partnerships with organizations, managing the timeline of consulting projects, managing currently held relationships with partners, enhancing the education of consulting committee members, recruiting and retaining committee members, and setting the vision for the growth of the consulting committee.
VP Marketing
Open Position (1-2)
The Vice President of Marketing is a key leadership role responsible for driving the organization's presence and engagement across various platforms. As the VP of Marketing, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns that resonate with our members. The successful candidate will lead the charge in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that align with the organization's goals. ​We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in marketing/leadership, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a vision for our social presence. Experience with photography/videography or graphic design (Canva) is a plus! ​If you are passionate about shaping and elevating our brand through various marketing channels, we invite you to apply for the position of Vice President of Marketing and contribute to the organization's growth and visibility.
Responsibilities for this position include: developing and executing marketing plans and strategies to increase club awareness and promote events and products, collaborating with other VPs to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall club goals, collecting and distributing club photographs/videos, creating social media graphics, and creating/maintaining a brand image.
VP Membership
Open Position (1)
The Vice President of Membership is a critical position that brings together the members of UF AIS. An ideal candidate will be responsible for driving membership growth and engagement, as well as creating a welcoming and inclusive community for all members. The VP of Membership will also work closely with other club leaders and committees to ensure that membership goals are aligned with overall organizational goals. They will collaborate with the marketing team to develop messaging that promotes membership and events. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for building relationships and creating an inclusive community. Additionally, the VP of Membership should be creative and innovative, always looking for new and engaging ways to grow and engage the club's membership.
Responsibilities for this position include planning and executing membership recruitment events (welcome weeks) and retention strategies, creating and managing membership programs and events, communicating regularly with members to ensure their needs and expectations are met, managing the membership committee, and fostering a sense of community among members.
VP Treasury
Open Position (1)
The Vice President of Treasury is responsible for managing the club's financial operations as a registered nonprofit corporation. An ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, have a general understanding of financial management principles, and have an interest in accounting information systems. The VP of Treasury will work closely with other VPs to ensure that budgets are aligned with overall organizational goals. This role is also responsible for collecting membership dues and managing the financial ledger and financial management Python database. The VP of Treasury will also serve as the point of contact for pending transactions and communications with the MS-ISOM department and other sponsors.
Responsibilities for this position include: managing the club's financial accounts, creating and managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
